  "text": "(1) A direction given to a strategic planning authority under this Part may—\n(a) require the authority to do specified things by specified dates;\n(b) require the authority to keep the Secretary of State informed at specified intervals of the progress being made towards doing what the authority is directed to do.\n(2) A direction under this Part must be given in writing.\n(3) A direction under this Part may be varied or revoked by notice in writing to the strategic planning authority to which it was given.\n(4) A direction under this Part must be published.",
