In section 1—
(a) in subsection (1), in the words before paragraph (a), after “non-metropolitan county”, insert “in England”;
(b) omit subsections (1A) and (1B);
(c) in subsection (4)(a), after “non-metropolitan county” insert “in England”;
(d) omit subsections (4A) and (4B);
(e) in subsection (5)—
(i) in paragraph (b), for “(1) to (2)” substitute “(1) and (2)”;
(ii) in paragraph (c), omit “in England”;
(f) omit subsection (6).
