# Planning (Consequential Provisions) (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 238: Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990 (c. 10)

After section 3 insert—
“Wales: interpretation of references to hazardous substances authorities
3A In this Act as it applies in relation to the presence of hazardous substances on, over or under land in Wales, references to a hazardous substances authority are to be read as references to the planning authority for the area in which the land is situated.”
