# Planning (Consequential Provisions) (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 56: Gas Act 1965 (c. 36)

In section 28(1)—
(a) in the definition of “local planning authority”—
(i) omit “and Wales”;
(ii) after “1990,” insert “in Wales the meaning given to “planning authority” by section 7 of the Planning (Wales) Act 2026”;
(b) in the definition of “planning permission”—
(i) omit “, in relation to England,”;
(ii) after “Part 13 of that Act” insert “, under Part 3 of the Planning (Wales) Act 2026,”.
