# Planning (Consequential Provisions) (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 4

Status: prospective

In section 39—
(a) omit subsection (1);
(b) after subsection (4) insert—
“(5) For the purposes of this Part, a certificate of lawfulness issued under section 156 of the Planning (Wales) Act 2026 in respect of a use of land is to be treated as planning permission for that use granted otherwise than by a development order.”
