# Planning (Consequential Provisions) (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 14: Directions that planning permission is deemed to be granted

Status: prospective

(1) Where an enactment refers to a direction under Chapter 8 of Part 3 of the principal Act granting planning permission for the development of land in Wales, the reference is to be read as including a direction that such permission is deemed to be granted that has been given under section 90 of TCPA 1990 before that Chapter comes into force.
(2) Where an enactment refers to a direction under section 5 of the Pipe-lines Act 1962 (c. 58) that planning permission is granted for the development of land in Wales, the reference is to be read as including a direction that such permission is deemed to be granted that has been given under that section before paragraph 48 of Schedule 2 to this Act comes into force.
