# Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1972, Article 2: Interpretation

Extent: N.I.

(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 1954 c.33 shall apply to Article 1 and to the following provisions of this Order as it applies to an Act of the Parliament of Northern Ireland.
(2) Words and expressions used in this Order and in the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 have the same meaning in this Order as they have in that Act .
