# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 12: Deduction of compensation for changes to planning permission

Extent: E+W
Status: prospective

Where compensation is payable under section 105 or 106 for expenditure incurred in carrying out works on land, any compensation that becomes payable for the acquisition of an interest in the land in pursuance of a purchase notice must be reduced by the amount of the compensation relating to the works.
