# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 18: Notice that order has come into force

Extent: E+W
Status: prospective

(1) This paragraph applies where an order comes into force otherwise than—
(a) on the day it is confirmed, or
(b) at the end of a period specified in the order that begins with that day.
(2) As soon as possible after the order comes into force, the authority that made the order must publish notice that it has come into force in at least one newspaper circulating in the relevant area.
