# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 12: Date order takes effect

Extent: E+W
Status: prospective

(1) An order under section 318 takes effect on the day the notice is first published in accordance with paragraph 11(a).
(2) But sub-paragraph (1)—
(a) does not apply where the order is subject to special parliamentary procedure, and
(b) is subject to any interim order made by the High Court under section 377(7) to suspend the operation of the order.
