# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 15: Highways

Extent: E+W
Status: prospective

(1) Land consisting of the site of a highway that a relevant highway authority proposes to construct, improve or alter, if that authority has given written notice of the proposal to the planning authority, together with maps or plans sufficient to identify the land in question.
(2) In this paragraph “relevant highway authority” means the Welsh Ministers, the Secretary of State or a strategic highways company.
