# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 45: Appropriate enactment: general

Status: prospective

(1) “The appropriate enactment”, in relation to land falling within a paragraph of Part 1 of this Schedule, means the enactment providing for the compulsory acquisition of land falling within that paragraph.
(2) This paragraph is subject to paragraphs 46 to 56, which make provision about the meaning of “the appropriate enactment” in relation to certain land.
