# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 50: Appropriate enactment: compulsory purchase etc.

Status: prospective

(1) In relation to land falling within paragraph 19, “the appropriate enactment” is the enactment providing for the compulsory acquisition of the interest in the land or of the rights over the land.
(2) In relation to land falling within paragraph 20, “the appropriate enactment” is the enactment that would provide for the compulsory acquisition of the interest in the land or of the rights over the land if the compulsory purchase order were confirmed or made.
