# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 1: Replacement of inspector

Extent: E+W
Status: prospective

Where an inspector has been appointed to exercise functions under regulations made under section 53 (pre-application services) in relation to a proposed application under section 78 or 80, the Welsh Ministers may at any time—
(a) revoke the inspector’s appointment, and
(b) appoint another inspector to exercise the functions.
