# Planning (Wales) Act 2026, Paragraph 2: Permission granted before 22 February 1982

Status: prospective

It is a condition of every minerals permission granted before 22 February 1982 that the mining operations or depositing of mineral waste to which the permission relates must stop on or before 21 February 2042 (the end of 60 years beginning with 22 February 1982).
