  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules)\nThese Rules amend with effect from 1st March 1989 the Poisons Rules 1982 by increasing from twenty-four to seventy-two hours the period within which a signed order must be presented by the purchaser of a poison supplied in an emergency and by removing the only remaining requirement relating to transport (which is replaced as from the same date by the Road Traffic (Carriage of Dangerous Substances in Packages etc) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 (S.I. 1989/105)).",
