# Police Act 1964, Paragraph 1

Extent: E+W

Where the Secretary of State proposes to make an amalgamation scheme under subsection (2) of section 21 of this Act, he shall give to the police authorities for the police areas proposed to be amalgamated a notice describing the general nature of the proposed scheme and specifying the period within which objection may be made thereto.
