  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order, which extends to England and Wales, brings into force the following provisions of the Police Act 1997:\nSection 120 (which relates to the register to be maintained by the Secretary of State for the purposes of Part V of that Act);\nSection 122(1) and (2) (which relates to the code of practice to be published in connection with the use of information provided to registered persons); and\nSection 125 (which relates to regulations made under Part V of the 1997 Act).\nSections 120(3) (power to make regulations about the maintenance of the register), 122(1) and (2) and 125 are brought into force on 19th March 2001 and the remaining provisions of section 120 are brought into force on 1st May 2001.",
