# The Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2002, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, which extends to England and Wales, brings into force on 1st March 2002 those provisions of Part V of the Police Act 1997, except section 112, which are not already in force together with an associated repeal.
