  "text": "In relation to a person performing part-time service in the rank of inspector or chief inspector pursuant to an appointment in the rank in question made under regulation 8A of the principal Regulations before 1st September 1994, the principal Regulations shall have effect as if the amendments made by regulations 2 to 6, 7(a), 8 and 12(2) above had not been made.",
