# The Police (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 1995, Article 2: Interpretation


(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to Article 1 and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
(2) In this Order—
Definition rep by 1998 c. 32
“the 1987 Order” means the Police (Northern Ireland) Order 1987;
“the 1989 Order” means the Police and Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989.
