  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations further amend the Police Regulations 1987 so as to increase London weighting and the supplementary pay of university scholars in the City and the metropolitan police district with effect from 1st July 1991 (retrospection is authorized by section 33(4) of the Police Act 1964).",
