# The Police (Amendment) Regulations 1993, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations further amend the Police Regulations 1987. Regulation 2 increases, with effect from 1st April 1992, the maximum amount of removal allowance payable in respect of incidental expenses. Regulation 3 increases pay, and regulation 4 increases the dog handler’s allowance, both with effect from 1st September 1992. Retrospection is authorised by section 33(4) of the Police Act 1964.
