  "text": "(1) Paragraph 1 of Schedule 6 to the principal Regulations (determination of pay) shall be amended as follows.\n(2) The table in paragraph 1(2) shall be amended by substituting for the third column (which sets out the amounts payable in respect of pay categories A to I) the following:\n“£38,724\n£39,678\n£40,635\n£41,589\n£42,543\n£43,497\n£44,454\n£45,408\n£46,362”.\n(3) In paragraph 1(3):\n(a) sub-paragraph (d) of pay category E and the word “or” immediately before it are hereby revoked;\n(b) in sub-paragraph (a) of pay category F the words “whose pay category would otherwise be C, D or E, but” are hereby revoked;\n(c) in sub-paragraph (c) of pay category F the words “was appointed in the rank of superintendent after 31st August 1994 and” and “in it” are hereby revoked;\n(d) in sub-paragraph (a) of pay category G the words “whose pay category would otherwise be C, D, E or F, but” are hereby revoked; and\n(e) in sub-paragraph (a) of pay category H the words “whose pay category would otherwise be C, D, E, F or G, but” are hereby revoked.\n(4) The table in paragraph 1(4) shall be amended by substituting for the third and fourth columns (which set out the amounts payable in respect of pay categories A to I in London and the provinces, respectively) the following:\n“\n£29,775\n£28,470\n£30,612\n£29,310\n£31,449\n£30,147\n£32,286\n£30,984\n£33,129\n£31,824\n£33,783\n£32,478\n£34,440\n£33,138\n£35,100\n£33,795\n£35,691\n£34,386\n”.\n(5) The table in paragraph 1(6) shall be amended by substituting for the third column (which sets out the amounts payable in respect of pay categories A to F) the following:\n“£22,014\n£22,809\n£23,604\n£24,402\n£24,930\n£25,674”.\n(6) The table in paragraph 1(8) shall be amended by substituting for the third column (which sets out the amounts payable in respect of pay categories A to M) the following:\n“£14,412\n£15,648\n£16,525\n£16,710\n£17,082\n£17,532\n£18,141\n£18,726\n£19,335\n£19,893\n£20,397\n£21,057\n£21,828\n£22,809”.",
