  "text": "POLICE\nMade 2nd March 1998\nLaid before the House of Commons 10th March 1998\nComing into force 1st April 1998\nThe Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 50 of the Police Act 1996, after taking into consideration the recommendations made by the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom and supplying that Board with a draft of these Regulations in accordance with section 62(1) of that Act and after supplying the Police Advisory Board for England and Wales with a draft of these Regulations and taking into consideration any representations made by that Board in accordance with section 63(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:",
