  "text": "(1) The Police Regulations 2003 are amended as follows.\n(2) In paragraph (1) of regulation 10 (qualifications for appointment to a police force)—\n(a) after paragraph (b), insert—\n“(ba) must have attained the age of 17 years;”;\n(b) in paragraph (c), after “18 years” insert “before being appointed to a police force”;\n(c) in paragraph (ea), after “paragraph (1A)” insert “before being appointed to a police force”.",
