Section 30 (jurisdiction of constables) is amended as follows.

(2)

For subsection (2) (jurisdiction of special constables) there is substituted—

“(2)

A special constable shall have all the powers and privileges of a constable throughout England and Wales and the adjacent United Kingdom waters.”

(3)

Subsections (3) and (4) are omitted.
