Coming into force 1st April 2006

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1999^f1 (having regard to the definition in section 1(1)(d)).

In accordance with section 4(3) of that Act he has consulted with persons appearing to him to represent police authorities and such other persons as he thought fit.
