# The Police Authorities (Best Value) Performance Indicators Order 2004, Article 2: Performance indicators


The performance indicators by reference to which the performance of each police authority in England and Wales can be measured in exercising their functions are hereby specified in—
(a) Schedule 1 (citizen focus);
(b) Schedule 2 (reducing crime);
(c) Schedule 3 (investigating crime);
(d) Schedule 4 (promoting public safety); and
(e) Schedule 5 (resource use).
