# The Police Authorities (Best Value) Performance Indicators Order 2004, Article 3: Amendment of the Local Government (Best Value) Performance Indicators and Performance Standards Order 2003


For article 2 of the Local Government (Best Value) Performance Indicators and Performance Standards Order 2003 there is substituted the following article—
“Application
2. This Order applies—
(a) in relation to England, to all best value authorities except authorities falling within section 1(1)(d) of the Act (police authorities); and
(b) in relation to Wales, only to authorities falling within section 1(1)(e) of the Act (fire authorities).”
