# The Police Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001, Article 1: Citation, commencement and application


(1) This Order may be cited as the Police Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 27th November 2001.
(2) This Order applies in relation to police authorities in England and Wales and to the Metropolitan Police Authority, and references to “authority” shall be construed accordingly.
