# The Police Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001, Article 2: Model code of conduct–police authorities and the Metropolitan Police Authority


(1) The Secretary of State hereby issues a model code as regards the conduct which is expected of members and co-opted members of authorities and that code is set out in the Schedule to this Order.
(2) All the provisions of the model code in the Schedule to this Order are mandatory.
