# The Police Authorities (Particular Functions and Transitional Provisions) Order 2008, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Police Authorities (Particular Functions and Transitional Provisions) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 14th March 2008.
(2) In this Order the “1996 Act” means the Police Act 1996.
