# The Police Authorities (Selection Panel) Regulations 1994, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations—
“the 1964 Act” means the Police Act 1964;
“panel” means selection panel;
“relevant authority member” means a member of the police authority appointed (or to be appointed) under paragraph 5 of Schedule 1B to the 1964 Act.
