# The Police Authority (Amendment) Regulations 2012, Regulation 2: Amendment of the Police Authority Regulations 2008


(1) The Police Authority Regulations 2008 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 19A (extension of existing terms pending abolition of police authorities), for “10th May” substitute (in both places) “22nd November”.
(3) In regulation 41 (requirement to advertise)—
(a) in paragraph (1), for the words after “they shall” substitute “advertise, in such manner as they think fit, the vacancy that exists or will exist amongst the members of the police authority”;
(b) omit paragraphs (2) and (3).
