  "text": "The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:—\n(a) for paragraph (1)(b) of Regulation 10 there shall be substituted the following provision:—\n“(b) the period consists of not more than 7 days.”;\n(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table:—\n“Table\nAge\nLondon\nProvinces\nUnder 17 years\n£2,817 a year\n£2,424 a year\n17 years\n£2,961 a year\n£2,568 a year\n18 years or over\n£3,252 a year\n£2,859 a year\n”;\n(c) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—\n“2 The annual rate of charge shall be—\n(a) in the case of a police cadet attached to the City of London or Metropolitan Police force, £363;\n(b) in any other case, £339.”.",
