# The Police Cadets (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1982, Regulation 3


The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:—
(a) for paragraph (1)(b) of Regulation 10 there shall be substituted the following provision:—
“(b) the period consists of not more than 7 days.”;
(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table:—

£2,817 a year
£2,424 a year

£2,961 a year
£2,568 a year
18 years or over
£3,252 a year
£2,859 a year
”;
(c) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—
“2 The annual rate of charge shall be—
(a) in the case of a police cadet attached to the City of London or Metropolitan Police force, £363;
(b) in any other case, £339.”.
