  "text": "These Regulations amend the Police Cadets Regulations 1979, with effect, as provided by Regulation 2, from the dates mentioned below (retrospective effect is authorised by section 33(4), as applied by section 35(2), of the Police Act 1964).\nRegulation 3(a) increases, as from 25th October 1984, the stocking allowance for women cadets to £25 a year. Regulation 3(b) increases, as from 1st September 1984, the annual pay of cadets attached to the City of London and Metropolitan police forces.",
