  "text": "The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:\n(a) in regulation 13(1), there shall be substituted for paragraphs (a) and (b) thereof the words “Schedule 2 hereto”;\n(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table—\n“\nTable\nAge\nLondon\nProvinces\nPay from 1st September 1990\nUnder 17 years\n£4,704 a year\n£4,002 a year\n17 years\n£4,947 a year\n£4,245 a year\n18 years or over\n£5,427 a year\n£4,725 a year.\n”\n(c) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph—\n“2 The annual rate of charge shall be—\n(a) in the case of a police cadet attached to the Metropolitan Police force, £603;\n(b) in any other case, £558.”.",
