# The Police Cadets (Amendment) Regulations 1982, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 18th March 1982
Coming into Operation 12th April 1982
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Police Act 1964, and after furnishing the Police Advisory Board for England and Wales and the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom with a draft of the Regulations in accordance with section 46(3) of the said Act of 1964 and section 2(1) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980 respectively, I hereby make the following Regulations:—
