Regulation 3

after Regulation 4 there shall be inserted the following Regulation:—

“Notice of conditions of service

4A

A candidate for appointment as a police cadet shall be given a notice describing the conditions of service relating to the appointment.”

in paragraph (5) of Regulation 5 (termination of service), the words “for misconduct” shall be omitted;

Regulation 12 (medical examination) shall be omitted;

for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table:—

17 years	£2,817 a year	£2,424 a year
18 years or over	£3,090 a year	£2,697 a year

”

for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—

“2

The annual rate of charge shall be—

(a)

in the case of a police cadet attached to the City of London or Metropolitan Police force, £342;

(b)

in any other case, £321.”.
