Regulation 2
Regulation 5 of the Police Cadets Regulations 1979f1 shall be amended as follows:—
(a)
in paragraphs (3) and (5) after the words“chief officer of police” there shall be inserted the words“(or, in the case of the metropolitan police force, an assistant commissioner of police)”; and
(b)
in paragraph (5) for the words“(or, in the case of the City of London and metropolitan police forces, with an assistant commissioner of police)” there shall be substituted the words“(or, in the case of the metropolitan police force, with an assistant commissioner of police, a deputy assistant commissioner of police or a commander)”.
