  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulation)\nThese Regulations further amend the Police Cadets Regulations 1979. Regulation 2 increases pay from 1st September 1992 and again from 1st September 1993 (retrospection is authorised by section 33(4), as applied by section 35(2), of the Police Act 1964). Regulation 3 increases charges payable by cadets for board and lodging provided by police authorities.",
