# The Police Cadets (Pensions) (Amendment) Regulations 1983, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 18th July 1983
Coming into Operation 15th August 1983
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Police Act 1964, as extended by section 13 of the Superannuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1967 and sections 12 and 15 of the Superannuation Act 1972, and after consulting the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom in accordance with section 2(3) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980, I hereby make the following Regulations:—
