# The Police Cadets Regulations 1979, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 20th December 1979
Laid before Parliament 3rd January 1980
Coming into Operation 1st February 1980
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Police Act 1964, and after consulting the Police Advisory Board for England and Wales in accordance with section 46(3) of that Act and the Police Council for the United Kingdom in accordance with section 4(4) of the Police Act 1969, I hereby make the following Regulations:—
