  "text": "The pay of a police cadet shall be determined by reference to his age, in the case of a cadet attached to the City of London or metropolitan police force, in accordance with the scale set out in the second column of the following Table and, in any other case, in accordance with the scale set out in the third column thereof:\nTABLE\nAge\nLondon\nProvinces\nUnder 17 years\n£2,160 a year\n£1,950 a year\n17 years\n£2,280 a year\n£2,070 a year\n18 years or over\n£2,511 a year\n£2,301 a year",
