# The Police Cadets (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1997, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 17th November 1997
Laid before Parliament 26th November 1997
Coming into force 17th December 1997
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 27 of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after taking into consideration any recommendations made by the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom and supplying the said Board with a draft of the Regulations in accordance with section 62(1) of the Police Act 1996 hereby makes the following Regulations:
