# The Police (Collaboration: Specified Function) Order 2012, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order specifies the provision of police air support as a function that must be exercised in relation to all police areas in England and Wales in accordance with provision contained in a single police collaboration agreement made under section 22A of the Police Act 1996.
