  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the Police (Grant) Order 1966 to increase, from 51 per cent to 52 per cent of the expenses incurred for police purposes, the rate of grant payable in respect of the metropolitan police district. This provision replaces the Imperial and National Services Grant under section 1 of the Police Act 1909 (c. 40), which has been discontinued.",
