  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order further amends the Police Grant (Scotland) Order 1947. The amendment made by this Order imposes a limit on the amount of expenditure incurred by a police authority or a joint police committee in respect of pay and allowances to constables which is eligible for grant payable under section 32 of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967 where the number of constables of a force and the amount of such pay and allowances exceeds specified limits during specified periods in the financial year ending on 31st March 1996.",
